1.1. GENERAL SAFETY

p WARNING! Ensure health & safety, local

authority, and general workshop practice

regulations are adhered to when using this

equipment.

8 DO NOT hold the workpiece by hand.

Use clamps or a vice (not included) to secure

the workpiece.

3 Wear approved safety eye protection

(standard spectacles are not adequate).

3 Keep the work area clean, uncluttered and

ensure there is adequate lighting.

3 Keep children and unauthorised persons

away from the working area.

1.2. PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS

3 Remove ill tting clothing. Remove ties,

watches, rings, and other loose jewellery,

and contain and / or tie back long hair.

3 Ensure that a vehicle which has been jacked

up is adequately supported with axle stands

and that the wheels are chocked.

 DO NOT use air tools.

Repairs light damage to CV joint threads. Set contains sizes to t the most common types of

vehicle. Must be used with a light oil to lubricate thread. Supplied in storage case.
