3.1 TO USE AS A SYPHON
3.1.1 Insert one end of each of the two orange, hoses into the black connectors (A), see fig.1.
3.1.2 Push the orange hoses right into the nozzles. Then ensure the black connectors (A) are pushed securely
over the nozzles.
3.1.3 Put the orange hose from the top nozzle (intake) into the liquid to be transferred. Then insert the orange
hose from the bottom nozzle (discharge) into where the liquid is to be discharged.
NOTE: For proper syphoning the discharge hose must be lower than the intake hose.
3.1.4 Pump the handle 3 or 4 times to prime it, once the liquid begins to flow, it will flow without further pumping.
WARNING! After syphoning petrol, oil or any other flammable liquid, it is very important to clean the
pump.
3.2 TO CHANGE OIL
3.2.1 Follow steps 3.1.1 & 3.1.2 above. Insert the dipstick tube into the black adapter (B) and insert the adapter
(and dipstick tube) into the end of the top (intake) orange hose. Insert the other end of the dipstick tube into
the engine’s dipstick hole and lower it in until it reaches the bottom of the oil sump. Place the bottom
(discharge) orange hose into a drain pan and begin pumping.
3.3 TO USE AS AN AIR PUMP
3.3.1 Place the air pressure hose into the bottom nozzle (discharge) and tighten securely, begin pumping. To
inflate pool toys, beach balls, etc place an inflation needle into the threaded adapter on the end of the air
pressure hose, then begin pumping.
4.1 Flushing the pump with water is usually all that is needed for cleaning. For more thorough cleaning the pump
can be disassembled, without the use of tools, and cleaned.
